I live in South Korea. Korea is divided into North and South Korea,
North Korea is considered the world's most closed country. They establish a dictatorial and repressive regime of a totalitarian character.
Hereditary system and Kim Il Sung of North Korea, Kim Jong Il cult task is now recognized as a new religion.
Today, Juche is no longer just an ideology, but a full-fledged religion that worships Kim Il Sung as god, and his son, Kim Jong Il as the son of god. Whether or not Kim Jong Un is now worshipped as the grandson of god remains to be seen.
Poverty have never really ended nor the hammer-lock rule of north korea leader Kim Jung Il and the suffering of his people. The Government is not providing the people with any kind of standard of living. The leader in north korea sought to aggrandize himself at the expense of his people.
The north korea policy might work in theory but in practice it's too much like a dictatorship; the only reason it works so well in north korea is because that north korea is able to control the movement and the actions of its inhabitants.
my first work, Epic cinema was inspired by David Cohen‘article in guardian.
The video of kim jung il funeral came as a shock to me. As many cried uncontrollably and flailed their arms in grief, others knelt on the ground or bowed repeatedly. Children and adults laid flowers at key memorials.
“Considering the organization and intensity seen in the video and the brutal nature of North Korea’s government, it’s natural to wonder how sincere these lamentations are. Are they being forced? Was this video staged? These are legitimate questions.”
“In North Korea now, the norm dictates that everyone has to cry,” Nam told LiNK. “But people don’t have any positive feelings towards Kim Jong-il. The majority of people will be faking their tears.”“If you don’t cry in North Korea after the leader dies, then you come under suspicion as being against the Government,”. “Then you have to live with that label and suspicion for the rest of your life.”
Their cry is like that of a Hollywood actor. and also They control people's expression of feelings and emotion. As cohen said, The funeral offered a good lesson in epic film-making.
The second piece is edited scenes of north korean soldiers marching. They seem to be dancing.
Much of the TV footage used these days to shed light on the bizarre, hermetically sealed regime of North Korea features its massive army parading through the streets of Pyongyang in extremely tight-knit, highly synchronized marching formations. A prominent and chilling feature of these marches is the goose-step, in which thousands and thousands of troops kick their legs up like belligerent, robotic Rockettes. Goose-stepping is the ultimate tactical anachronism—yet another sign that Kim is stuck in the delusional global-domination schemes of yesteryear.
North Korea does remind me of Nazi Germany, The differences I see are that it is more isolated than Germany and can, therefore, do harm to an even larger percentage of its citizens,
Dr Scott Wiltermuth, of Stanford University in California and colleagues, have found that activities performed in unison, such as marching or dancing, exercise a form of mind control over people. They control all behaviors and mind.
The third work, human LED, is coming from Arirang mass game. Tens of thousands of performers danced in perfect unison. Behind them, thousands of schoolchildren flipped colored cards simultaneously, creating a living backdrop glorifying the regime's achievements. Control and discipline is all; the individual is entirely subsumed by the masses. They look like machine.
